Jaber ebne Yazid Aljohfi is a familiar name in Rejal science. He has related many traditions from Imam Baqir and Imam Sadeq (peace be upon them).
There are two diverse opinions about him; some of the experts have endorsed his credibility because of some proofs among them two valid traditions. On the contrary, some like Najashi and Martyr Sadr believe that Jaber’s traditions are not authentic enough. Investigation of the evidences presented by two sides indicates that Jaber is Imami and credible and his traditions assumed to be valid if they possess the general conditions of authenticity
