Āyatullah J‘far Sobhani Tabrizi is one of the few scholars who, prominently, has worked, and is working in different scientific fields; including teaching, researching, and propagation. Vastness of his scientific activities is his most important feature. He had done a lot of researches on the humanities and Islamic sciences, many of which are considered as reference books. History is one of these sciences, and his attitude towards this field of science is taken as instrumental, however, sometimes, historical subjects have been taken into consideration, too. His most important books consist of: Frūgh-i Abadyyat, Rāz-i Buzurg-i Risālat, Al-Shi‘ah fī Mokab al-Tārīkh, Al-hujjat al-Gharā‘.
