The confession rule is one of the famous logical rules that Shiite and non-Shiite jurisprudents have discussed in detail. Also, in the Civil Law of Islamic Republic of Iran, confession has been mentioned as the first proof among the proofs of supporting legal claims. Although this rule has been directly derived from the exact words of Islamic tradition, the most important reason for it the conduct of the wise.
In this essay, the discussions are mainly around the book ‘Elementary Lessons in Legal Rules’ written by the scholar Mr. Iravani. For this reason, no reference has been made to the book while discussing this rule. The scholar also mentioned the ‘Man Malaka’ rule (= the rule concerning the one in possession of the property) and its meaning and contents.
The writer, after introducing the viewpoints of Shiite and Sunnite scholars has mentioned the proper shown by the legislators of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the topics discussed.
