نگارنده پس از بحث مختصری در مورد واژة ترجمه و کاربرد آن در متون دینی، دلائل مخالفان ترجمه و نقد آنها و نظر فرق اربعه اهل‌سنّت و همچنین فتاوای بزرگان شیعه و اهمیت ترجمة قرآن را مورد بحث و بررسی قرار داده است.

Having given a brief discussion on the word translation and its applications to the religious texts, the author discussed and studied the justifications of those who question the translatability of the Holy Qur’ān. He also investigated the criticisms against translatability of this Divine Book. The decrees of the Shi’te and Sunnite scholars and the significance of translating the Holy Qur’ān in this regard, are studied as well.
