چکیده

«اصالت تاریخی حدیث»، موضوع اصلی گفتاری است که استاد محمدعلی مهدوی‌راد در همایش «عرصه‌ها و روش‌های حدیث‌پژوهی» ارائه نموده است. وی نخست به جایگاه سنت نبوی در دین اسلام اشاره داشته و حجیت سنت را امری مورد اذعان و اتفاق دانشمندان اسلامی برشمرده است. در بخش بعدی، با تأکید بر اهتمام مسلمانان نسبت به حفظ سنت، کتابت و تدوین حدیث را با وجود ممانعت حکومتی، امری مسلّم عنوان کرده و تشکیکات مستشرقان نسبت به اصالت تاریخی حدیث را ناروا دانسته است.

چکیده [English]

"Historical authenticity of tradition" is the main topic of what professor Muhammad Ali Mahdavirād presented as a lecture the conference“Fields and Methods of Tradition Research". At first, he mentioned the status of the Prophet (S.A.W.)’sSunna in Islam and considered the authenticity of Sunna as what all Muslim scholars acknowledge and are unanimous about. In the next part, by insisting on the Muslims’ effort onpreserving the Sunna, he rejected the orientalists’ raised doubts about historical authenticity of tradition, and propounded that, despite the government's prevention, writing and compiling the traditions is aninevitable truth.
