This research addresses the most important viewpoints regarding the reliability of Al-Kāfī traditions and then mentions Ayatollah Namazi’s viewpoints in this regard. Ayatollah Namazi is among those who advocate the authenticity of all Al-Kāfītraditions based on the earlier scholars’sideology. By mentioning some reasons, he seeks to prove his viewpointin his Al-A‘lām al-Ḥādiyat al-Rafī‘a fī I‘tibār al-Kutub al-Arba‘a. By criticizing and investigating the reasons supporting the authenticity of Al-Kāfītraditions, it is concluded that the mentioned reasons fail to prove the authenticity of all Al-Kāfī traditions in such a way that the inauthenticity of even one tradition is improbable. The selected perspective in the authenticity of Al-Kāfī traditions is that based on all clues and evidences resulting in the authenticity of Al-Kāfī traditions, the axiom is placed on the authenticity of previous traditions. However, the inauthenticity of some traditions, even few, is probable and acceptable.
