The present study seeks to investigate the authenticity of ideological narration. Having proposed the dominant perspective in this regard, the origin and basis of such a perspective is delved into. The dominant perspectiveis the inauthenticity of the narrations given by a single narrator (āḥād) in beliefs. The introduction to this viewpoint is that the authenticity of the isolated narration and the obligation to it make sense where the narration holds a practical effect in Sharī‘a, but theāḥād narrations do not have such an effect. The following paper which is adapted from the views of a contemporary theologian scholar, seeks to prove that the āḥādnarrations in beliefs play an important role in encouragement of the practical and mental faculty, and accordingly, it has gotten a practical effect so its authenticity makes sense.
