Family is one of the most sacred institutions which Islam emphasizes on its formation and stability. The author in this article after investigating the meaning and position of ethics has focused on the necessity of family formation in Islam and its role in social safety. She has briefly studied the various aspects of families, and after mentioning each aspect, she has made a brief criticism of. The aspects discussed in this investigation are: dictatorship orientation, profit orientation, right orientation and ethic orientation. Since men and women are the building blocks of families and are models for their children and for brevity of the discussion, the issues in this article are mainly examined with respect to the relations of couples in a family.
At the end, a brief discussion about practical conduct of some infallibles and great religious figures is stated.
