The project of "separating the Qur'an from Narrations" is a part of general policy which prevents publishing and compiling narrations after Prophet's (P.B.U.H) death. The Prophet's (P.B.U.H) forbiddance of writing other than the Qur'an and the possibility of mixing traditions with the Qur'anic verses are the main reasons for supporters of this policy. Insisting on efficiency of the Qur'an for guiding Muslims, preventing from writing of the Prophet's testament, refusing ‘Alī b. Abītālib (A.S.), and forbidding Prophet's (P.B.U.H) companions (Sahabah) from writing and quoting traditions, are the most important theoretic and practical steps to perform this policy.
