Allāmah Sayyid Mohsin Amīn is one of the prominent figures of Āl Amīn family, from Jabal Āmel of Lebanon. His activities include various fields such as: authorship, teaching, propagation, training seminary students, and charities. Free thinking and reforming temperament are the factors that distinguish him from his contemporaries. A‘yān al-Shi‘ah, fi Rīhāb-i A’emmi Ahl-i Bayt, and al-Shi‘ah fi Masārihim al-Tārīkhī are the most important books of Allāmah Amīn.
