Abstract: There are two general viewpoints about resurrection; the first one believes that Resurrection is the return of the man into this materialistic world and the passage of the man from death toward resurrection is a two-way passage. The second one says that resurrection is return to Allah and the passage of man is a unilateral passage. The Absolute wisdom believes that the Qur'an has stated the second one, but some others regard the first one as the appropriate one and consider it as one of the necessary issues whose denial is equal to denying the necessary. However, some of the prominent scholars of the Shiite in the recent centuries believe in the first idea. This article, preserving the values of the Shiite scholars and pondering in the culture of the Qur'an and Tradition, tries to propound problems, explicate the cause of debate, and criticize the reasons of those who believe in the first idea. This paper will show that this reasoning is not according the letter and cannot be true; it is also somehow against them. Some major parts of this criticism are the review of verses related to the rising of the dead.
