Rejection of Foreign Influence is one of the most important jurisprudential rules which is considered as a main proof for many of Shiite and Sunnite jurisprudents. Since long ago, the Islamic jurisprudents have deeply examined this rule, but considering that the rule is a greatly valuable one and its being decisive in international relations and so on, we should accept that there is a lot to do with this rule. In this essay, the writer first explains the content and proofs of this rule in Shiite and Sunnite sources, and then reviews the related literature on this subject , and then examines the reasons for this rule, the areas of its function and its practical applications.
