This article is about one of the branches of jurisprudence which is discussed under the title of ‘asabeh inheritance. Regarding ‘asabeh inheritance there is a great difference between the Shi'ite and the Sunnite. This paper tries to clarify this issue and to examine the reasonings of the Shi'ite and the Sunnite regarding ‘asabeh inheritance. In the concluding part of the article, the right verdict of the issue is stated.
