گفتمان عقل در بن نگره سنت گرایی و تجددگرایی

چکیده

یکی از وجوه تمایز دو بُن‌نگرة جریان سنت‏گرایی و تجددگرایی در موضع آنها نسبت ‏به «عقل» است. بُن‌نگرة سنت‏گرایی به عقل کلی(intellect) و بُن‌نگرة تجددگرایی به عقل جزیی(ration) معتقد است، که مهم‌ترین پیامد این نگره(تجددگرایی)، پذیرش مطلقِ «عقل» و خودْبسنده‌دانستن آن و در نتیجه، انکار رازگونگیِ عالم است.
مقاله به کاستی‌های بُن‌نگرة تجددگرایی از نگاه سنت‌گرایان اشاره و ما را با نقد قدرت‌مندانه و سازش‌ناپذیر ایشان علیه عقل تجددگرا آشنا می‌کند.
نگارنده بر آن است که باید اضلاع معرفت‌شناختی این دو بن‌نگره بر مخاطب اسلامی روشن گردد تا در گفتگوهای پیش‌رُوانة اسلامِ اصیل با باورمندان به تجدد غربی بهره‌گیری شود.

One of the distinctions between the two paradigms of traditionalism and modernism is in their positions towards intellect. The traditionalism believes in the general intellect and the modernism believes in the partial intellect (ration). The most significant consequence of this paradigm (traditionalism) is the absolute acceptance of intellect and regarding it as self-sufficient and as a result, the denial of the mysteriousness of the universe.
The article deals with the shortcomings of the paradigm of modernism from the traditionalist’s perspective and makes us acquainted with their powerful and irreconcilable criticism against the modernistic intellect.
The author believes that the aspects of the epistemology of these two paradigms should be clarified for the Islamic addressees in order to be utilized in the dynamic discussions of the authentic Islam with the believers of the western modernity.
